Campus Update (WRMC)

WRMC Community Members & Families,

A clinical team member reported to us today that they developed symptoms of COVID-19 on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021. This staff member worked in both Traditional AL and Skilled Nursing on the days immediately preceding their symptom onset. Due to this potential exposure, Traditional Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing will be placed on quarantine for 14 days from their days of exposure. This potential exposure does not affect Pathways.

All in-person visits for Traditional AL will be converted to virtual visits. Our Life Enrichment team will be reaching out to those who are impacted.

This week, the CDC updated their quarantine guidelines for those who received the COVID-19 vaccine. The guideline states that vaccinated persons, not residing in a healthcare facility, who have received both doses are not required to quarantine after a potential exposure. This does not apply to residents in healthcare facilities.

Starting next week, all skilled nursing and assisted living community members will be tested once per week for 14 days.

We know this is frustrating for all those involved. We will continue to follow the protocols of the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health in regards to preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Sincerely,

Jason
