WRMC Community Members & Families,
This week, all community members in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing tested negative for COVID-19. Yesterday, two dining service team members tested positive for COVID-19 on rapid response antigen testing. We are now awaiting PCR results on those two team members. All other staff tested negative.
Because of their job duties, neither have resulted in exposing any community members to COVID-19. We have gone 14 days without a resident exposure. As a result, we are ending the quarantine of skilled nursing and assisted living effective today.
Traditional Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing community members will be able to leave their rooms and move about the common areas on the first floor of the campus.
As a reminder, Independent Living Community Members are prohibited from entering into the corridors of Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. This includes passing through the east end of buildings 3 & 4 on the second and third floors to get to the parking garage and other areas.
Our staff will continue to be tested twice weekly in accordance with the State of Ohio’s testing protocol. Our community members in the care areas will only be tested if we have an exposure.
For the next 2 months, Karra Weil our Director of Nursing and I will be assisting our sister facility, Browning Masonic Community in Waterville, OH. We will be rolling out our Connecting Realities sensory programming for BMC’s Pathways Assisted Living.
We will be temporarily splitting time between the two campuses as needed. We have all the confidence that our leaders and our teams will continue to deliver on the high expectations of service that WRMC community members, deserve and expect.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Sincerely,
Jason French
President
