Halloween in November

Springfield Masonic Community (SMC) decided to forgo the traditional Halloween celebration, wait a week and celebrate on a clear, cool Friday evening in November.  There may not have been as many costumes, but there was no shortage of fun. Hotdogs were grilled over an open fire as well as s’mores. Approximately 75 people attended.  There were new community members to SMC who chose to come out and meet more of their neighbors and make new friends.  One of the community members even connected with a coworker from nearly 30 years ago!

SMC was excited to have guests from Premier Health.  They enjoyed the good food and had a great time meeting many of the community members.  They provided blood pressure checks to many of those in attendance. You could hear the thanks being extended as well as “we hope to see you again.”

As the evening came to a close, plans were being shared for Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Excitement was in the air for this festive time of year!
