SMC Villa Open House

Springfield Masonic Community (SMC) held their first Villa Open House since the beginning of the pandemic.  The Open House was held on June 7th and nearly 60 people attended the event to tour and learn about three different floor plans of villas. Some of the guests were looking for themselves and some were looking for their loved ones. Others were friends looking to move to the same location to be assured of staying near each other and continuing their friendships.

While waiting on your time to take the tour, guests enjoyed a variety of snacks varying from cheese and fruit to a variety of tasty cookies.  A glass of wine was enjoyed by many of the guests.

An SMC bus gathered people in groups of approximately twelve and drove them to the three villas.  The villa community member, was there to show their villa as well as talk to everyone and answers to their questions.  SMC President, Tony Berardi also participated in the Villa Open House.  Tony helped to prepare the guests for their tour by answering questions before the left.  Tony remained at the Clubhouse to answer any additional questions when they returned.

The guests had a variety of questions ranging from can I bring my pet to decorating their villa when they move in.  Others wanted to know about prices as well as utilities and where the mailboxes are located.  A standard question was tell me about the maintenance. Absolutely everyone was excited to learn about maintenance free living.  What happens if my refrigerator stops working?  They bring you another one.  Do they do snow removal?  Yes, and they do a great job of it too.

These were the kind of answers along with the villa tours that had people seriously considering Springfield Masonic Community for their home.
