Independent Living

Browning Masonic Community offers individuals an enhanced and nurturing lifestyle in a family atmosphere at its peaceful, scenic location along the Maumee River. Browning’s 450 acres in Waterville promote the serenity of country living while situated close to city conveniences and offers community members a number of different independent living options. These include spacious villa homes and one-bedroom apartments, featuring a variety of layouts and floor plans.

Assisted Living

Browning Masonic Community offers assisted living community members an enhanced and nurturing lifestyle in a family atmosphere. Assisted Living community members can maintain their independence while taking advantage of help when needed. Three meals daily in our dining room, laundry, linen and housekeeping services and help with activities of daily living are provided.

Memory Care

Pathways at Browning Masonic Community is a secured memory support neighborhood for aging adults who have Alzheimer’s or other related dementias. Our enrichment-based approach that focuses on the specific interests, passions, and hobbies of our community members. The Pathways philosophy is holistic and centered around each individual’s natural schedule to enhance independence, dignity, and self-confidence through the sequence of daily activities. Our apartments provide privacy while opening up to bright, comfortable, and engaging spaces including a secured garden with walking paths.

Campus Life

At Browning Masonic Community, we know everyone on campus by name. In fact, we also know the names of many of our community members’ children and grandchildren. We pride ourselves on engagement, empowering all community members and employees to inspire family culture.

We believe where you sleep doesn’t define you. It’s what you do that defines you. Some community members are fully independent, and some require a little extra TLC—and that’s okay. We encourage all of our community members to take advantage of our tailored amenities, health and wellness facilities, walking paths, exclusive trips, variety of on- and off-campus events, or nearby community attractions like the Toledo Zoo, or the Toledo Art Museum. Catch a minor league baseball game for our beloved Mud Hens, or take a stroll through the charming bedroom town of Waterville.
