Are your retirement communities open to the public?

While our organization was founded by the Ohio Masonic Fraternity, we are open to everyone, with values rooted in honesty, compassion, and friendship.

Where are your communities located?

The Ohio Masonic Communities offers three premier lifestyle communities located in Springfield Ohio, Medina Ohio, and Waterville Ohio.

Do your communities offer skilled nursing care?

Skilled nursing care is available at Springfield Masonic Community and Western Reserve Masonic Community. If a Browning Masonic Community resident requires skilled nursing home care, they may apply to a long-term care facility, or transfer to one of our skilled nursing facilities.

Do you offer rehabilitation services?

As part of our commitment to wellness, we offer individualized short- and long-term physical, occupational and speech therapies for residents, as well as the public. With 114 dually certified private rooms, 24/7 admissions and a registered nurse on duty—we’re always available and happy to help with any need you may have. We accept all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Can I get the therapy I need at your community and then return to my home?

Yes. In addition to providing 24-hour nursing care, we offer physical, occupational and speech therapy at each of our Healthcare centers. Our goal is to assist you in reaching your maximum physical potential.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. Each subsidiary has a pet policy and certain types and sizes of companion pets are allowed. All certified service animals are permitted at our communities.

Is transportation available?

Van and bus transportation are provided for certain community-sponsored events at each facility. There is a nominal charge for transportation to doctor appointments and other medically-related trips off campus.

Will I be required to sign a long-term lease?

We stand by our community and are confident this is the best place to live. To prove our confidence, we don’t require long term lease agreements. We know once you get here, you will love it. And if for any reason you choose not to stay, you just need to give a 30-day notice.

I am moving in from out-of-state. What about finding a new doctor?

You may choose your own physician while you are a resident at any of our communities. However, each health care campus has a Medical Director to ensure residents receive the medical care they need and deserve.

Do I have a choice of floor plans in a villa or an apartment?

Many different floor plans are available at each of our communities for our villas and apartments. Our sales team members will work with you to find the best fit for you and your loved one’s needs.
